About Data Rae
Who I Am
Hi. I'm Data Rae. I am the head of machine learning and cofounder of Jaxorik AI Research Group. I am obtaining a PhD in data science, and I have an MBA.
I am a combat veteran, having served in the US Marine Corps, which I joined to escape a cult that I accidentally joined in high school. Today I safely live in the Albuquerque metro area with my two big black dogs.
My Expertise
I am mostly interested in large language models / generative AI and reinforcement learning. You can find more about my research on my YouTube channel.
I also have experience in business and leadership as a serial entrepreneur and military veteran.
My Beliefs
I do not believe in using AI for weapons of war. Trust me, it would be really easy for me to get a very high paying job building that. However, I am willing to turn down that money because I think it's important for our longevity as a species that we not teach AI to kill. I am not naive; I know there are other organizations doing just this. But I'm hoping to use my skills to teach AI to love peace.
